Xing Tang

Director of computational biology at ReviR Therapeutics

Xing Tang has extensive work experience in the field of computational biology and bioinformatics. They are currently employed as the Director of computational biology at ReviR Therapeutics since August 2022. Prior to this role, Xing Tang worked as a Senior Principal Scientist at Regor Therapeutics Group from October 2021 to August 2022. Xing Tang's previous experiences include working as a Bioinformatics Research Scientist at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital from August 2016 to August 2018, and as a Post Doctoral Researcher at Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital & Solove Research Institute from February 2014 to August 2016. Xing Tang began their career as a PHD Student at Peking University in September 2008, where they built pipelines to identify long non-coding RNA in embryonic stem cells and conducted extensive research in the field.

Xing Tang has a strong educational background in the field of bioinformatics and life science. They obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Bioinformatics from Peking University, completing their education from 2008 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Biotechnology (B.A.) degree in Life Science and Biotechnology from the same university, studying from 2004 to 2008.
