Senior Director Of Cancer Cell And Systems Biology at REVOLUTION Medicines

Matthew Holderfield has a diverse work experience in the field of research and biochemistry. Matthew is currently working as the Senior Director of Cancer Cell and Systems Biology at REVOLUTION Medicines since January 2021. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Research at Quanta Therapeutics from September 2018 to November 2020. Matthew worked as a Principal Scientist at Leidos from December 2013 to September 2018, where they contributed to various scientific projects. Matthew also worked as an Assistant Research Biochemist at UCSF from February 2013 to December 2013. Before that, they were a Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow at Novartis from June 2008 to January 2013, focusing on the molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis. Matthew's research journey began at UC Irvine, where they worked as a Graduate Student from 2002 to 2007, studying the Notch signaling pathway and endothelial cell behavior during vascular remodeling. Matthew gained initial research experience as a Research Intern at Bayer from 2001 to 2002.

Matthew Holderfield completed their education in chronological order as follows: From 1999 to 2002, they attended the University of Portland and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Subsequently, from 2002 to 2007, they pursued a PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at UC Irvine.
