Michelle Laussen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michelle started their career at Science from Scientists, where they worked as a Staff Educator, teaching and facilitating STEM classes to elementary and middle school students. Michelle then moved on to the Broad Institute, where they held roles as a Research Associate II and Research Associate III. At the Broad Institute, they developed cell-based assays and knockout cell lines using CRISPR/Cas9. Most recently, Michelle has been working at Revvity Signals as a Global Marketing Manager for Signals Notebook - Informatics. In this role, they formulated marketing strategies and collaborated with various teams to maximize the product's commercial success. Michelle also has experience in field application and senior field application scientist roles. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in product management, marketing, research, and education throughout their career.

Michelle Laussen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Penn State University in 2006. Later, they pursued a Masters of Arts degree in Biochemistry from Boston University School of Medicine from 2006 to 2008.
