Derrick Bunting has a diverse and extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Derrick is currently working at Revvity as a Senior Principal Design Engineer & Compliance Engineer. Before that, they worked at Omni International Inc as an Engineering Manager for five years, where they managed a team of eight engineers and technicians. Prior to that, they held the position of Engineering Manager at TouchPoint Medical for a brief period, where they managed a team of eleven engineers and technicians. Derrick also served as a Mechanical Engineering Manager at TouchPoint Medical for two years. In addition, they have experience as a Mechanical Engineering Manager at InterMetro Industries for five years. Before that, they worked at Flo Healthcare as a Senior Mechanical Engineer for eight years, designing mobile medical carts. Derrick also has experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at EMS Wireless and Electro Magnetic Sciences, where they worked on various military projects. Derrick started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Georgia Tech Research Institute and David Taylor Naval Research Laboratory.

Derrick Bunting earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1985. Derrick then pursued a Master's degree in the same field from the same university, completing it in 1986.
