Taraka Donti

Taraka Donti, Ph.D., FACMG, currently serves as the Director of Laboratory Services at Revvity, overseeing R&D and laboratory operations in Pittsburgh, including the immunology lab and a Biochemical Genetics diagnostic lab. Notably, Taraka built the lab from the ground up and successfully launched six tests, including a COVID-19 serology test. Prior experience includes a position as Director of Laboratory Services at PerkinElmer Genomics, where similar responsibilities were undertaken, along with managing a high volume of sample processing. Previous roles at Greenwood Genetic Center, Baylor College of Medicine, and Texas A&M Health Science Center encompassed extensive research, clinical data analysis, and training. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Genetics from Texas A&M Health Science Center and a Master's in Biotechnology from Stephen F. Austin State University.
