Mehras Tayyab has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. They started their career as a Summer Analyst at EY in 2013, followed by a Summer Associate Corporate Risk role at MCB Bank Limited in 2014. In 2015, they co-founded Shahi Sawari, an on-demand ride-hailing service for low-cost rickshaws in Pakistan. They served as the Co-Founder and Head of Product Strategy & Growth, overseeing the growth and expansion of the platform. During this time, they also worked as an Associate at Harappa Solar, focusing on finance and project development for renewable energy projects.
In 2019, Mehras Tayyab co-founded Flo, a subscription-based shared mobility solution for daily commutes in Pakistan. They served as the Co-Founder, Head of Strategy and Growth, and Product Lead, responsible for building and scaling the platform. After leaving Flo in 2020, they worked as a Freelance Consultant, providing growth strategy and performance marketing services for multiple brands across different regions.
In 2021, Mehras Tayyab joined the Government of Punjab as a Consultant, working on strategy and finance. They later joined Airlift Technologies, a transportation startup, where they held multiple roles. They started as a Strategy & Operations Manager for the Last Mile Delivery organization, followed by a promotion to Strategy & Operations Lead, responsible for the end-to-end user experience, operations, and strategy. In their final role at Airlift, they served as the Strategy & Analytics - Advanced Analytics Lead, leading the company's journey from Analytics 1.0 to Analytics 3.0.
Most recently, in 2022, Mehras Tayyab joined Dastgyr as the Strategy & Analytics Lead, where they focused on strategy and analytics. Currently, they are employed at Rewaa, where they work in the role of Growth Strategy and Analytics.
Mehras Tayyab pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Lahore University of Management Sciences, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Intermediate in Pre-Engineering from Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) from 2009 to 2011.
