Tom Kent

Tom Kent has a diverse range of work experience. Tom is currently an Engineering Lead at Reward Gateway, where they oversee development, delivery, and maintenance, provides technical leadership, and contributes to revenue-generating and efficiency-improving features. Prior to this, they were the Head of Engineering at Neurolytic Healthcare Inc., where they led the delivery of a personalized online migraine clinic and managed the engineering team. Tom also worked as a DPhil student at the University of Oxford, studying the Alternative Lengthening of Telomeres (ALT) pathway in cancers. In addition, Tom has experience as a Software Development Consultant at White Digital, where they provided consultation on complex projects and maintained website deployments. Tom also worked as a Freelance Developer at Zine UK and conducted various research projects during their time at the University of Lincoln. Overall, Tom has a strong background in engineering and research, with expertise in software development, project management, and scientific investigation.

Tom Kent earned a DPhil in Medical Sciences from the University of Oxford between 2016 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained an MBio Biomedical Science degree from the University of Lincoln from 2012 to 2016. Their education began at Teesdale School in Barnard Castle from 2005 to 2011, where they completed A Levels in Computing, Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry.
