Chris Morris obtained their Bachelor of Science with Honors degree in Microbiology from the University of Aberdeen, where they attended from 1977 to 1981. Following this, they pursued a PhD in Microbial Energetics at The University of Edinburgh, graduating in the years 1981 to 1985. Prior to higher education, Chris attended Forres Academy from 1970 to 1976, where they studied English, Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
