Chris Schnaars

Chris Schnaars has extensive work experience in product design, UX engineering, and front-end design. They recently joined Rewatch in May 2022 as a Senior Product Designer. Prior to that, from September 2020 to March 2022, they worked as a Senior UX Engineer at Soundstripe. They also held positions as a Front-End Designer at thoughtbot from August 2019 to April 2020 and as a Freelance Interaction Designer at ESI Design from September 2018 to June 2019. Chris has also worked as a Freelance Lead UX Designer at The College Board from March 2018 to September 2018. Before that, they served as a Senior Interaction Designer at Local Projects from May 2015 to April 2018. Chris gained experience in digital design and strategy as a Senior Digital Designer at Continuum from May 2014 to April 2015, and as a Lead UX Designer at Amplify Education from July 2012 to May 2014. They began their career as a Product Designer at Wireless Generation from December 2009 to July 2012, working on educational technology projects for clients such as The Gates Foundation and Teach for America. Chris also interned as a Graduate Intern at Project for Public Spaces in June 2009, where they focused on public space design.

Chris Schnaars completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics at Lehigh University from 2000 to 2004. From 2008 to 2009, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Design Ethnography at the University of Dundee.
