Andreas Schneider

Andreas Schneider has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and positions. Andreas started their career at T-Mobile Austria in 1996, where they worked as a Senior Manager in Network Infrastructure and Planning for 13 years. In 2010, they joined Bostelmann Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co KG as a Senior Project Manager. After a year, they moved to A1 Telekom Austria AG, where they held the position of Purchasing IT Category Lead for Software and Hardware until 2021. From 2011 to 2023, they also worked at the Telekom Austria Group as the Group Purchasing IT Category Lead for Software, Hardware, and Cloud. Currently, they are the Head of IT Procurement at REWE International AG since 2023.

Andreas Schneider received a degree in Engineering specializing in Electronics and Telecommunications from Technologisches Gewerbemuseum between 1990 and 1995. In 2014, they studied Procurement Excellence Curriculum at McKinsey, and in 2015-2016, they pursued Strategy, Finance & Supplier Appraisal / Contract Management / Effective Negotiation at CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
