Maarten Verhoef is a Data Scientist at Rewire, having progressed from trainee and student employee roles since February 2022. Previously, Maarten served as the Chairman of the Ecotribune committee at Study Association Kraket, overseeing the publication of four editions of the organization's informal magazine, and participated in the Caseday Committee, coordinating a major annual event. Maarten also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Analysis I and II and Introduction to Programming Java at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, in addition to tutoring roles at SMILE Huiswerkbegeleiding and Sophistès. Academically, Maarten holds a Master's degree in Econometrics and Operations Research from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution, complemented by an international experience at the University of Valencia. The educational background also includes a vwo gymnasium diploma from Hermann Wesselink College.
