Sarah Lazarovic

Vice President, Communications + Creative Strategy at Rewiring America

Sarah Lazarovic has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sarah currently serves as the Head of Communications, Creative, and Consumer Engagement at Rewiring America, where they focus on making electrification accessible and engaging for all. Prior to this, Sarah held the position of Vice President at Canadians for Clean Prosperity from 2020 to 2022.

From 2015 to 2020, Sarah worked as a Creative Director at Pilot PMR, a branding and communications agency. Throughout their tenure, they played a pivotal role in the agency's growth by leading the creative evolution and working with clients ranging from environmental non-profits to startups.

Before joining Pilot PMR, Sarah had their own freelance business called SarahL.com, where they offered design and consulting services to various publications such as The Boston Globe, The Globe and Mail, and Maclean's. This freelance work lasted from 2004 to 2019.

Additionally, Sarah explored their passion for writing and illustrating as an Author/Illustrator at Penguin. In 2014, they wrote a book called "A Bunch of Pretty Things I Did Not Buy," which received commendation from The Globe and Mail and was featured on The Today Show.

Sarah's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Web Producer at CBC from 2006 to 2007 and serving as an Editor at Torontoist from 2004 to 2006. Overall, Sarah Lazarovic brings a wealth of expertise in creative and communications roles, with a particular focus on sustainability and consumerism.

Sarah Lazarovic completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies at Florida State University from 1998 to 2000. Sarah then attended Concordia University from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Digital Arts. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Media Studies at The New School, which they completed from 2002 to 2004. Most recently, from 2014 to 2015, Sarah took PhD coursework in Behavioural Science at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
