Lauren O'Neill

Lauren O'Neill is a Critical Care Registered Nurse currently working in the Float Pool at UNC Health Rex since August 2018, providing comprehensive patient care in various adult intensive and intermediate care units. In addition to clinical practice, Lauren served as a Project Manager for a quality improvement initiative at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, focusing on pediatric healthcare outcomes. Past experience includes critical care nursing at UF Health, where responsibilities included mentoring new nurses as a Clinical Preceptor, conducting wound care assessments as an Ostomy and Wound Liaison, and demonstrating leadership as a Charge Nurse. Lauren earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University Bloomington.
