Melanie Powell has a diverse background in clinical informatics and instructional design, with experience at various healthcare organizations such as UNC REX Healthcare, Southeastern Regional Medical Center, and UConn Health. Melanie has worked as an Epic consultant in different capacities, focusing on areas such as Clinical Documentation, Optime, and Ambulatory Activation. Melanie's expertise also includes training and support for Epic Systems, with a strong emphasis on large numbered classroom trainings and post Go-Live ATE support. In addition to their informatics roles, Melanie also has experience as an LPN in Coumadin Clinic and Dialysis Unit settings. Melanie holds an Associate's Degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling and Practical Nursing.
