Emily Mawoyo

Emily Mawoyo, CISSP, is a Cyber Security Analyst at Rexel Australia since March 2022, specializing in the Australia and New Zealand regions. Prior to this, Emily undertook a parenting break between July 2021 and March 2022. Emily’s experience includes roles as a Cyber Security Consultant at Araza, where involvement in the Araza Women in Cybersecurity program aimed to promote female participation in the field. Additional roles include Cyber Security Analyst at AMP, where Emily contributed to mapping security controls to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and a work experience placement at Westpac Group focusing on cloud security workshops. Earlier career highlights include ICT Specialist positions at Lion Finance Zimbabwe and AfrAsia Zimbabwe, along with an adjunct lecturer role at Solusi University. Emily holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town and two master’s degrees, one in e-Business Management from the International University of Japan and another in Business Administration from Solusi University.
