Bobby Siagian

Bobby Siagian is a software engineer with over 13 years of experience. In 2008, they began working as a freelance programmer. In 2012, they took a role as a software engineer at Herbal Frezh, where they built scripts for bonuses calculation and SMS gateway. Bobby then moved to IBM in the same year, where they built an e-clinic software for a hospital and managed VPS for clients. In 2014, they joined PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk. as a Performance and Budgeting Manager and Human Resources. In 2016, they became a Lead Software Developer at Sea and Senior Web Developer, where they collaborated with Garena Lab in Singapore to build mobile apps and API architecture. In 2017, they joined Bizzy Indonesia as a Lead Software Development Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, where they revamp the core system and implemented TDD. In 2019, they moved to Tokopedia as a Lead Software Engineer and managed impactful projects. Currently, they are the Co-Founder & CTO of Rey.id, a healthtech and insurtech startup.

Bobby Siagian has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Universitas Mikroskil, which they obtained between 2008 and 2012. Bobby also attended Tamansiswa from 2005 to 2008, studying Computer Science. Siagian has also obtained various certifications, including the Tokopedia Certified Internal Coach (July 2021), Tokopedia Interviewer Workshop (June 2021), Leadership Development Program (October 2019), Basic Leadership (January 2018), Banking Staff Program (September 2014), and Anti Fraud & Risk Culture (February 2014).
