Evan Tanotogono

Evan Tanotogono has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Evan is currently the CEO & Co-Founder of Rey.id since July 2021. Prior to this, Evan worked as the Head of Digital Channel at PT. Asuransi Jiwa Sequis Life from September 2018 to July 2021. In this role, they led the digital channel of the company and spearheaded the realization of their digital ambition. Evan also played a key role in obtaining ISO27001 certification for digital insurance provision and developed strategies to revolutionize the digital channel as an alternative selling platform for insurance.

Before joining PT. Asuransi Jiwa Sequis Life, Evan worked at Tokopedia as a Category Senior Lead from February 2018 to September 2018. Here, they set up analytics for the category strategy team, transformed the team into a data-driven and analytics-enabled unit, and defined strategy roadmaps across marketplace categories. Evan also led various business development projects and played a significant role in the pioneering big campaign called "Ramadan Ekstra."

Evan's earlier experience includes working at The Boston Consulting Group as an Associate from September 2016 to February 2018 and as a Business Analyst from September 2015 to August 2016. Evan also worked at Toshiba Corporation as part of the Project Management Team in 2015 and at APRIL as a Control System Engineer in 2013. Additionally, they had an internship as a Business Analyst Intern at The Boston Consulting Group in 2013. Overall, Evan has a strong background in strategy, analytics, business development, and project management.

Evan Tanotogono completed their education at the Institut Teknologi Bandung. Evan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from 2010 to 2014. Evan further pursued their education by completing a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Instrumentation and Control from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, they hold certifications such as "Qualified Chief Risk Officer" from the Indonesia Professional Certification Authority (BNSP) obtained in December 2018, and a "Certificate in General Insurance" from The Indonesia Insurance Institute (AAMAI), although the specific month and year of attainment for the latter have not been provided.
