Mark Braden

Mark Braden is an experienced professional in public affairs and political campaign management, currently serving as the Senior Director of Public Affairs and Senior Director of State Government Relations at Reynolds American Inc. since April 2021. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of Senior Vice President at Mercury from January 2015 to April 2021. Mark's campaign management expertise includes leading efforts for Lamar Alexander for Senate 2014 and Bob Corker for Senate 2012, as well as serving as Chief of Staff and Communications Director for the North Carolina Republican Party. Additional experience includes significant positions within various political campaigns and organizations, including the Office of the Governor-Elect and the John McCain 2008 campaign. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earned in 2005.
