Tomaz Scussel

Tomaz Scussel holds a diverse and extensive background in operations and supply chain management within the tobacco industry, currently serving as Sr. Director of DBS - Operations and R&D at Reynolds American Inc. since April 2023. Prior roles include DBS Operations Manager at BAT, where strategic digital initiatives were driven across the Americas and Sub-Saharan Africa, and Head of Leaf at BAT Kenya, overseeing the complete Leaf Supply Chain and achieving significant working capital reductions. Previous experience at Souza Cruz included various leadership positions, such as Regional Leaf Production Manager and Plant Manager, where responsibilities spanned large-scale operations and compliance enhancements. Tomaz's educational background includes a Production Engineering degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and multiple advanced degrees, including an Executive MBA and an MBA in Finance.
