Abhishek S.

Abhishek S. has a strong background in DevOps engineering and software development. Abhishek currently works as a DevOps Staff Engineer at Rezdy, where they specialize in implementing infrastructure as code using AWS CDK. Abhishek is responsible for creating in-house constructs and patterns using CDK, migrating applications from Jenkins to CodePipeline, and mentoring junior team members. Abhishek also monitors the production environment for areas of improvement and designs collaboration strategies for seamless workflows.

Prior to Rezdy, Abhishek was a Senior DevOps Engineer at ELMO Cloud HR & Payroll. At ELMO, they focused on creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy. Abhishek also developed backend libraries for Kubernetes and ECS, enabling Developers to deploy applications to the respective platforms.

Abhishek gained valuable experience as a DevOps Engineer at Domain, where they created and maintained fully automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy. Abhishek wrote backend libraries for Kubernetes and ECS, developed serverless applications using Python and AWS Lambda, and managed infrastructure as code for the AWS cloud platform.

Starting their career as an Associate Software Engineer at Accenture, Abhishek worked on OSI-PI and data analytics projects using C#. Abhishek also gained some experience with Azure during their time there.

Abhishek's other work experiences include a brief stint as a Software Developer at Queensland Gas Company Pty Limited and an internship at Air India Limited, where they worked on a live project and developed a C application to improve the logistical process.

Abhishek S. holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Melbourne, which they obtained between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science at APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, Abhishek has obtained various certifications, including Elasticsearch Engineer I (Version 7.X) from Elastic in August 2019, Oracle Certified Java Programmer from Oracle in September 2018, and Akamai Web Performance Foundations from Akamai Technologies in March 2018.
