Ovidiu Berdilă

Ovidiu Berdilă began their career in 2008 as a Software Developer at Nokia, where they developed an internal asset management java web application, deployment and maintenance, and researched and implemented a mobile UI automation testing tool. In 2009, they moved to Tora Trading Services as a Java Developer. In 2013, they joined Ingenuity Web Apps as a UX Designer and Senior Software Developer, where they collaborated closely with the product team and beta testers to design and implement two major features, both related to visualising large amounts of biological data. Ovidiu also designed and implemented a complete overhaul of an internal test automation web tool that was being used on multiple projects. In 2015, they worked as a UX Designer at PARKING+PLUS. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at CraftingSoftware as a Lead Designer, Product Manager, and Product Designer, where they lead the post MVP design efforts for OctoPlay, lead the design and implementation of the new company website, organised and conducted a knowledge sharing program, managed three MVPs, and gained experience in understanding how markets and businesses work. Currently, they are a Senior UX Designer at Rezolve Limited, where they are responsible for understanding user and business needs, technical constraints and delivery timelines, and supervises and guides the work of two remote design teams.

Ovidiu Berdilă obtained a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca in 2009-2012. Ovidiu then went on to receive a Master degree in Computer Vision from the same university. Additionally, Ovidiu Berdilă has obtained several certifications, such as a Solving real problems with Artificial Intelligence certification from the Universitatea “Babeș-Bolyai” din Cluj-Napoca in April 2021, a Membership Certificate from the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) in January 2018, an Interaction Design Specialization from Coursera Course Certificates in November 2016, a Data Visualization certification from Coursera Verified Certificates in August 2015, and a Human-Computer Interaction certification from Coursera in December 2013.
