Derek Arbour

Derek Arbour has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry, with a focus on credit operations and residential underwriting. Derek is currently serving as the SVP of Credit Operations at RFA Bank of Canada, where they oversee all residential lending activities and manages relationships with third-party service providers. Prior to this, Derek held various leadership positions at Home Trust Company and CIBC, where they were responsible for underwriting, operations, and workforce management. Their expertise includes developing operational processes, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Derek's experience also includes managing teams, coaching employees, and achieving strong business relationships with sales partners.

Derek Arbour obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Honours Political Science with Business Administrative Option from Wilfrid Laurier University, completing their education between 1997 and 2001.
