Madeleine Karlsson

Madeleine Karlsson is an experienced international development professional currently serving as the International Programme Manager for Central America and Georgia at RFSU since January 2023. Prior roles include Project Manager for Liberia at Folke Bernadotte Academy and Program Officer for Women's Economic Empowerment at Sida. Madeleine has also worked with Mercy Corps in various capacities, including Programme Development and Liaison Officer, and Gender and Financial Inclusion Advisor. Prior to these roles, Madeleine was an Insights Manager at GSMA, focusing on digital inclusion projects in low- and middle-income countries. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Development Administration and Planning from UCL and a Bachelor's Degree in Peace and Development Studies from Linnaeus University.
