Marat Shaimardanov

Marat Shaimardanov is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in investment and corporate finance. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at RG Gold since December 2018, Marat oversees Finance, Accounting, Taxes, Procurement, IT, and Government Relations for the junior gold mining company. Prior roles include Executive Director at Verny Capital, where Marat held multiple investment management positions from January 2013 to November 2021, and Board Member at CJSC Yuzhno Kyrgyzskiy Cement Plant from June 2018 to December 2019, contributing to its development as a leading cement producer. Marat's earlier experience includes strategic roles at Ernst & Young in Transaction Advisory Services and as a Business Analyst at TNK-BP. Marat holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics of Financial Markets from Washington State University.
