Roy DiMarco

President & CEO at RGD Marketing

A thirty-year veteran in the field of marketing, Roy began his career at KRS Communications, a prominent Long Island Sales Promotion Agency. Within a few years, Roy had successfully grown the client base and boosted agency revenues by securing top clients like Banfi Vintners, General Cigar, Rock Bottom Drug Stores, Mistic Beverages, Jumby Bay Island, Beacon Photo and several other regional B2B businesses. After merging KRS Communications with Harrison Leifer DiMarco in 2001, Roy spearheaded HLD’s growth through strategic acquisitions that enhanced the agency’s overall capabilities in Marketing, Public Relations and Digital services. HLD was soon recognized as one of the largest and most accomplished branding, advertising, public relations and interactive agencies on Long Island. In fact, in 2002, HLD became the first-ever advertising and public relations agency named, by Hofstra University and KPMG, to the list of The 25 Fastest Growing Private Companies on Long Island.

Today, Roy is the President of RGD Marketing, a smaller, more agile Long Island agency where he gets to work closely with owners and decision makers. By combining his thorough knowledge of branding with on-trend website design, social media, email marketing and more, he develops the right mix of revenue-building tactics for each client. His fresh ideas promote accelerated growth, broader exposure and a more solid brand identity for businesses and their products/services.

Roy is a proud graduate of LIU Post, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and Management. In 2017, along with a few others, founded a non-for-profit (501(c)3 called Warriors For A Cause and serves as the Treasurer and also was elected to the Executive Committee. Prior to Warriors For A Cause, Roy served on the board of Island Harvest for 13 years and in 2009 was chosen as the golf honoree for the annual golf classic.

Roy has won numerous industry awards including: BOLI’s, Summits, Rx Club Awards of Excellence and Pro Comm Awards. In 2013, he was named a LIBN (Long Island Business News) 50 Around 50 Award recipient and in 2016, he was a recipient of LIBN’s TOP CEO Award that recognized those who consistently demonstrate remarkable leadership skills, integrity, values, vision, commitment to excellence, financial performance, community service and diversity.
