Katie Schafer

Katie Schafer is the current Head of Account Management at the music streaming company, Rhapsody. Katie has also held previous positions as Migration Manager and Head of Groups at the company. Prior to their time at Rhapsody, Katie worked for Veterinary System Services, Inc. for four years and nine months, where they were Regional Director and then Account Manager for the Northern Colorado Territory. In their role as Regional Director, Katie was responsible for recruiting, screening, and interviewing applicants for employment. Katie also provided day-to-day leadership and coaching to a team of 50 remote veterinary technicians and veterinarians. In addition to their work in the veterinary field, Katie has also worked as a Meetings and Events Planner for DaVita Healthcare Partners and as a Lead Internal Medicine Nurse at Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialists. Katie began their career as a Veterinary Nurse at Windsor Veterinary Clinic.

Katie Schafer has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Mercy College in Veterinary Technology from 2004-2007. Katie also has an education from Colorado State University. Katie is a Certified Staffing Professional from the American Staffing Association and a Certified Veterinary Technician from the Colorado Association of Certified Veterinary Technicians.
