Patrick Vankwikelberge

Patrick Vankwikelberge is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic business development and venture development. Since 2010, Patrick has served as the Head of Venture Development at UGent and has held a Board Member position at RheaVita BVBA since 2020, focusing on freeze-drying solutions for the (bio)pharmaceutical industry. Previous roles include Board Member at Sigasi, Director of Restructuring Product Lines at Barco, Co-Founder and Head of Product Strategy at Essensium, and Director of Strategic Business Development at both STMicroelectronics and Alcatel Telecommunications. Patrick's educational background includes an MBA from Vlerick Business School, a PhD in Telecom Engineering from Ghent University, and an MScEE in Telecom and Electronics from Ghent University. Additional short courses were completed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and London Business School.
