Shawn Reed

Shawn Reed has extensive experience in engineering management, currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager for R&D at Rheem Manufacturing since April 1996, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of residential heating products. Previous roles at Rheem include Engineering Team Leader and Senior Design Engineer, with a focus on residential and commercial heating and cooling systems. Prior to Rheem, Shawn Reed served in the US Navy from August 1980 to December 1995, holding the position of MM1 and gaining experience as a Quality Assurance Supervisor for mechanical systems and as a Superintendent for various shipboard operations. Shawn Reed completed education at the University of Arkansas from 1998 to 2001 and at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 1990 to 1994.
