Igor Markaida

Igor Markaida currently serves as the Vice President and Head of Project Controls at Rheinmetall since November 2018. Prior to this role, Igor held the position of Chief Engineer at SOGECLAIR aerospace from April 2005 to October 2018, where responsibilities included skill management, supply chain management, innovation, and providing technical expertise support. Earlier experience includes serving as a Technical Leader at RUCKER LYPSA, leading an eight-member team on electrical design and development for the A380 Airbus, and a brief trainee position at Volkswagen AG. Igor Markaida holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Maschinenbau from the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
