Jan Sames

Jan Sames has extensive experience in the defense sector, currently serving as the Senior Vice President Service at Rheinmetall since July 2013. Sames has held multiple leadership positions within Rheinmetall, including Director Service Operations, Vice President Field Service, and Manager International Field Service. Additionally, Sames served as the Managing Director at Rheinmetall Defence Nederland BV from February 2021 to April 2023, and previously held an officer position in the Bundeswehr from July 2000 to June 2013. Jan Sames also conducted a diploma thesis in Satellite Structural Engineering at Airbus Defence and Space in 2007. Educationally, Sames obtained a Diplomingenieur degree in Aerospace Engineering from Bundeswehr University Munich between 2004 and 2007.
