Phillip Walden has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Phillip has worked as a Principal Electrical Engineer at Rheinmetall since 2023, and previously held the role of System Engineer starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were an Electrical Engineer and Manager of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing at Mining3 from 2021 to 2022. Before this role, they worked as a Health and Safety Advisor at Brisbane Catholic Education from 2020 to 2021. Phillip Walden attended the University of Bath from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a focus on Electronics. In 2011, they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from SAI Global. In 2014, they completed a Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety from NSCA. Moreover, in 2012, they received a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from UQ-ICTE. From 2010 to 2013, they attended the Scouts Australia Institute of Training and obtained a Certificate IV in Frontline Management, as well as a Certificate IV in Leadership. Additionally, in 2010, they completed a Certificate III in Frontline Management and a Certificate III in Leadership Support from the Scouts Australia Institute of Training. Prior to their university education, Phillip attended Tanbridge House in Horsham, UK, from 1985 to 1992, but no specific degree or field of study was provided.
