Roman Chaika

Roman Chaika has a diverse work experience in the fields of technology, engineering, and research. Roman is currently working at RHEON LABS as the Head of Technology, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to this role, they served as a Research and Development Engineer at the same company from September 2019 to November 2021.

Before joining RHEON LABS, Roman was a Graduate Product Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover from September 2018 to September 2019.

In 2017, Roman held two positions. At Imperial Racing Green, they served as the Team Principal, leading a team of over 60 individuals in designing an electric vehicle for a prestigious engineering event. Roman was responsible for defining the team structure, recruiting members from various departments, and ensuring the project met its objectives.

During the same year, they worked as a Summer Research Intern at Armourgel, where they contributed to material development research for energy-absorbing garments. This involved manufacturing and testing various material combinations and creating injection moulding tools using 3D printing and CNC milling techniques.

Roman Chaika completed their education with a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued their International Baccalaureate at St. Clare's, Oxford, from 2012 to 2014. Roman also holds an edx Honor Code Certificate for Introduction to Statistics: Probability from UC Berkeley, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
