Januka Samaranayake

Januka Samaranayake is a Senior Software Engineer/Consultant at Rhisa since September 2021, focusing on structuring and enriching medical databases for Pharma and Medical AI actors. Prior experience includes co-founding and serving as Product Owner at Akarsa, where Januka led the development of an AI-powered software engine to enhance online profile effectiveness. As an Engineering Consultant for Dear Muesli, Januka created a system for generating personalized muesli recipes using AI. Additionally, as Co-Founder and CTO of Autochatic, Januka contributed to achieving €100K ARR in the first year for a multilingual chatbot platform. Early career experience at Virtusa involved working on an AI chatbot for internal tools. Januka holds a B.Sc in Computer Science (Hons) from University College Dublin and completed advanced level studies in Mathematics at Carey College, Colombo.
