Djordje Velickovic

Djordje Velickovic's work experience begins in 2017 when they started as a Software Engineer Intern at Infobip. In 2018, they joined Centili as a Junior Software Engineer and later transitioned to the position of Software Engineer. During their time at Centili, Djordje was involved in various projects, including migrating data and services from MSSQL Server to PostgreSQL, applying GDPR policies, and designing and implementing an HTTP client with fluent API and retry logic. Djordje also utilized functional programming and Either monads for error handling and contributed to migrating parts of the JavaEE and Wildfly ecosystem to Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes. Additionally, they integrated Redis cluster as cache and implemented GitOps for deploying to Kubernetes.

In 2020, Djordje took on the role of Software Engineer at Kindred Group plc and Hooloovoo. Finally, in 2022, they joined Rho as a Data Engineer, where they are currently working.

Djordje Velickovic obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Računarski fakultet, completing their studies from 2015 to 2019.
