Gary Moukhtarian

Gary Moukhtarian currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at Rhode Island Credit Union, a position held since February 2024. Previously, Moukhtarian was the Senior Vice President of Consumer Finance at Webster Bank from January 2012 to July 2023, where mortgage growth and expansion were managed across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Central Connecticut. Prior experience includes serving as the Bristol County Area Sales Manager at Bank of America, where a mortgage origination team was led from June 2007 to December 2011, and as Branch Manager at First Horizon Home Loans, where Moukhtarian established a successful mortgage presence, contributing to the company achieving the number one market share as a purchase lender from February 2002 to June 2007. Earlier experience also includes establishing a mortgage presence for CitiMortgage in Rhode Island as Branch Manager from May 2000 to February 2002. Moukhtarian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in American Studies from Providence College between 1987 and 1991.
