April Chambers

April Chambers is a seasoned textile designer with a comprehensive background in various aspects of textile design, including rugs, wall coverings, and residential fabrics. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor in Textiles at the Rhode Island School of Design, April has also maintained a long-standing role at Champalimaud since 2014, focusing on rug and wall covering design. Other notable positions include working with F. Schumacher & Co., Bill Amberg Studio, Linherr Hollingsworth, LLC, and several freelance opportunities. April's extensive experience encompasses both residential and contract design, with contributions to companies such as Designtex, Wolf-Gordon, and KnollTextiles. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Textiles, April Chambers brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to the textile design field.
