Claudia Covert

Claudia Covert has over 20 years of library experience, currently serving as Special Collections Librarian at the Rhode Island School of Design since July 2004, where responsibilities include managing the Special Collections Department's operations, collection development, and outreach initiatives. Prior to this role, Claudia was the Readers' Services Librarian at the same institution, overseeing reference services, library orientation, and interlibrary loan functions. Earlier career experience includes serving as Library Director at the Corcoran Gallery of Art from September 2000 to May 2004. Claudia holds a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Drama from Randolph-Macon College.
