Dana “Deltadana” Akins-Adeyemi

Dana "DeltaDana" Akins-Adeyemi, MSME, serves as an Advisor/Mentor at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), contributing to the Terra Carta sustainability initiative. With extensive experience in design, engineering, and education, Dana holds positions as a Principal Innovation, Design & Engineering Strategist and Critic Professor of Industrial Design at RISD. Dana founded iDesignThink, offering consulting in innovation and design thinking, and currently teaches at the University of North Texas. A seasoned entrepreneur, Dana developed DeltaDana Designs, focusing on educational toys and jewelry, while holding various roles in educational program development and teaching at multiple institutions. With degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, Dana combines a strong academic background with over 20 years of industry experience.
