Eduardo Benamor Duarte

Eduardo Benamor Duarte serves as the Head of the Department of Interior Architecture and a Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design, specializing in teaching advanced studios focused on site-specific spatial interventions, Digital Fabrication, and Theory since July 2011. Duarte is also the owner and founder of Benamor Duarte Studio, established in January 2009, and has published works in architecture. Previous academic roles include Adjunct Professor at the California College of the Arts and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Project Architect positions at Acconci Studio and Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP, where significant projects included the Lotte Super Tower hotel. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in Architecture from Instituto Superior Técnico.
