Joseph Bernier

Joseph Bernier, MBA, PMP has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and finance. Joseph started their career in 1993 as a Senior Applications Consultant at MEDITECH and worked there until 1996. Joseph then joined Blue Moon Industries as a Financial Applications Consultant until 1998. From 1998 to 2011, Joseph worked at Lifespan, where they held the position of Financial and Administrative Systems Manager. In 2011, they joined the Rhode Island School of Design as the Senior Director of Information Technology Services. Joseph later took on the role of Interim Associate Vice President of Information Technology / Chief Information Officer, which they held until 2014.

Joseph Bernier holds an MBA from the University of Rhode Island - College of Business, which they earned from 1997 to 2000. Joseph also holds a BSBA in Accounting from Stonehill College, obtained from 1989 to 1993. In addition, they obtained a Project Management Certificate from Bryant University in 2004-2005. Joseph Bernier is also a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute in 2005.
