Shana Vanderweele Ortman

Shana Vanderweele Ortman has extensive experience in event management and operations, currently serving in the Presidents Office as Events & House Manager and as Events Specialist at the RISD Museum since October 2021. Previous roles include Operations & Programs Manager and General Manager at Greenwich Odeum from August 2017 to October 2021, as well as Private Events Manager at Big Billy, Inc. from February 2013 to November 2016. Shana has also worked as Expeditions and Special Events Coordinator at ForestEthics and served in multiple roles at Great American Music Hall. Earlier experience includes serving as US Coordinator for the International Campaign for Justice in Bhopal and Campaign Organizer at ForestEthics. Shana Vanderweele Ortman holds a BA in Humanities from New College of California and attended Grinnell College.
