Sofiya Cabalquinto

Sofiya Cabalquinto serves as the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at the Rhode Island School of Design since July 2024. Previously, Sofiya held the position of Chief Communications Officer at Harvard University's Kennedy School from August 2021 to June 2024. Prior roles include Associate Vice President of Communications and Marketing at Emerson College, where a promotion to Chief Communications Officer occurred in June 2019, and Senior Director of Communications at Wellesley College. Additional experiences encompass media relations and social media management at the Museum of Science, communications coordination for the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and public relations at The Corcoran Group. Sofiya holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Swarthmore College and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The New School.
