James E. McCarthy is the current President & CEO at R.H. White Companies, Inc. Prior to this, they served as the COO at R.H. White Construction from January 2011 to April 2019. James has also held various manager positions at R.H. White Construction from January 1985 to December 1993, including construction operations manager and underground utility division manager. Prior to their work in construction, McCarthy served as an officer in the US Army from January 1977 to December 1985, where they achieved the rank of Captain.
James E. McCarthy has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Senior Executive Program from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
