Cecilia Long is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and research. Currently serving as a Music Educator at Rhythm and Moves since August 2015, Cecilia inspires youth from Pre-K to 8th grade through musical arts. As the Owner of Creative Transformation, LLC, since November 2010, Cecilia utilizes intuitive coaching and healing modalities to empower individuals in achieving their life goals. Previous roles include Master Teaching Artist at Streetside Stories (2006-2014), where Cecilia taught literary arts and mentored teaching artists, and Tutor/Mentor at East Bay Center for Performing Arts (2005-2006), where a tutoring program for young artists was developed. Additionally, Cecilia contributed as a Senior Researcher at MPR Associates, Inc. (1996-1999) on educational access issues, and held leadership positions at the Council of Great City Schools and the American Council on Education, where substantial research on education policy for underserved populations was conducted. Cecilia holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Welfare from the University of the District of Columbia.
