Jennifer Schmitt

Jennifer Schmitt has a strong background in operations, pricing strategy, and analytics in the energy industry. Jennifer is currently working at Rhythm as the Senior Director of Operations and Customer Care, where they have been since July 2021. Prior to this, they were the Director of Operations at Rhythm from March 2020 to July 2021.

Before joining Rhythm, Jennifer was at APG&E, where they held the role of Director of Operations in February 2020. Previously, they were the Manager of Operations from January 2018 to February 2020.

From 2016 to 2018, Jennifer worked at Centrica as the Manager of Pricing Strategy & Analytics and Senior Analyst of Residential Pricing Strategy and Analytics. Here, they were responsible for pricing strategy and analytics for the power and gas markets in the United States.

Jennifer's experience in the energy industry began at Direct Energy, where they worked as a Pricing Analyst for the Direct Energy Residential US North Power division from March 2015 to August 2016.

Prior to that, Jennifer worked at Champion Energy Services, where they held several roles, including Senior Analyst of Residential Pricing and Supply and Residential Pricing and Supply Analyst from August 2013 to March 2015. Jennifer also spent time on the Leadership Development Team from May 2012 to August 2013.

Before transitioning into the energy industry, Jennifer gained experience in other fields. Jennifer worked as the Newsletter Editor-in-Chief at the Woltemade Center from September 2010 to May 2012. Jennifer also interned at Hewlett-Packard, Inc as an ESSN Supply Chain Intern in June 2010, and at Global Village Collection as a Communications Intern from September 2009 to February 2010.

Jennifer's earliest work experience was at Stren Co., Inc, where they held the role of Assistant Graphic Design Artist, AP/AR, and Administrative Assistant. Jennifer worked there from June 2004 to August 2009.

Jennifer Schmitt attended Ohio Wesleyan University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time at Ohio Wesleyan University, they studied a wide range of subjects including Accounting, Geology, Women's and Gender Studies, and Management. In 2011, Jennifer participated in a study abroad program at University College Cork, focusing on International Finance.
