Gerald Keisler has extensive experience in the field of quality and reliability engineering. Gerald began their career at Harris Semiconductor, where they managed a reliability and failure analysis department. Gerald then moved on to Fairchild Semiconductor, where they worked as a yield enhancement engineer, significantly improving product yields. At IBM - Printer Division, they served as a components engineer, establishing standard procedures for quality inspection and qualification of electrical components. Keisler later joined Intersil Corporation, where they had various roles including senior principal engineer and failure analysis laboratory manager, as well as assembly sustaining engineer and quality staff engineer. Gerald then worked at Conexant Systems, where they managed the wireless quality department and select subcontractors. After that, they joined Ansaldo STS as a quality engineer, responsible for implementing Design for Manufacturing and Quality Function Deployment. Most recently, Keisler held the position of Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at Rhythmlink International, LLC, where they were responsible for product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. Gerald retired in August 2021.
Gerald Keisler pursued their education in the field of Electrical Engineering. Gerald first attended The Citadel from 1971 to 1975, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering. Following this, they enrolled in the University of South Carolina from 1975 to 1977 and earned their Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
