Marie-Claude Gingras, PhD, is a seasoned program manager specializing in cancer research, currently serving at the Research Institute of the MUHC since November 2016. In this role, Marie-Claude provides scientific, administrative, and technical support to various cancer research teams, spearheading strategic planning, research development, and collaboration efforts. Prior to this position, Marie-Claude was a research associate at McGill University's Goodman Cancer Research Centre, where responsibilities included lab management, project oversight, and scientific publications from November 2011 to November 2016. Marie-Claude also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at McGill University, focusing on the role of HD-PTP in tumorigenesis, and conducted pioneering research that established HD-PTP as a tumor suppressor gene. Marie-Claude's academic background includes a Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology from Université Laval, complemented by a Master's degree and a Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. Currently, Marie-Claude is pursuing a specialized graduate diploma in management at HEC Montréal.
