Axel Thomson

Axel Thomson has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2013, they began their career as a Junior Web Developer at House of Education. In 2014, they worked as a Web Developer and UX Designer at Timlen AB. In 2015, they gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Worldchip Digital Technology. In 2016, they worked as an Undergraduate Summer Researcher and later as a Research Assistant in Decision Making at UCL. In 2018, they became a Business Development EMEA at Recorded Future. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Gousto in roles such as Product Manager and part of the Growth Team. In 2021, they founded their own company, Ribbon, where they serve as the CEO.

Axel Thomson has completed a Master of Research (MRes) degree in Brain Sciences from UCL and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Management for Business, also from UCL. They have also participated in a Summer Study Programme at Beijing Normal University. Additionally, Axel has obtained a certification in Retention + Engagement Deep Dive from Reforge in May 2019.
