John Luckey

John Luckey currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Ribbon Biolabs, where the focus is on organizing and managing R&D and automation development teams to launch a cutting-edge gene assembly platform. Previously, Luckey held various leadership roles, including President of Windlass Advising, LLC, and Senior Vice President of Product Development at DNA Script. An extensive background in engineering and product development includes successful tenures at Thrive Bioscience, RainDance Technologies, Pathogenetix, Roche NimbleGen, OpGen, MJ Research, and GeneSys Technologies. Luckey holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry and an Executive MBA, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Stanford University.
