Benny Sharaby

Benny Sharaby has over 15 years of extensive experience in research and development within the technology and communications sectors. Currently serving as Director of R&D for Packet Optical Systems at Ribbon Communications since 2015, Benny focuses on enabling enterprises to adopt digital technology to enhance business outcomes. Previous roles include Vice President of R&D at PowerCom Ltd., where leadership encompassed Smart Grid systems, General Manager at Ace Verification overseeing business development and marketing, and positions at Actelis, Civcom, and Alvarion managing various R&D initiatives. Benny holds an MBA in Business Strategy and Technology Organizations Management, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Physics-Electronics from Tel Aviv University.
